our Mission
Our mission is to provide a fun, safe place for excitement and adventure where connections and lasting memories are made through active play.
About us
You already know that Flight 509 is a new family entertainment center coming soon to Spokane Valley that will have all the fun: mini-bowling, laser tag, ropes and ninja warrior courses, bumper cars, arcade games, a giant soft play structure, and more. Now we want to introduce you to the crazy geniuses who are making all this happen.
Tim is a not-so-recent transplant to Spokane by way of New York and Texas. A former commercial pilot and world traveler, he chose to settle in Spokane for its natural beauty, mountains, lakes, and friendly people. Tim graduated from Gonzaga University in 1999 with an MBA in tax and later purchased and operated an environmental testing firm until quasi-retirement in 2015. Tim enjoys playing tennis, biking, and hiking, has a curiosity for all things, an adventurous and fun-loving spirit, and is up to try anything once. Except brussels sprouts. It's a no on those.
Tammy is a lifelong Spokane resident. She graduated from Mead High School around the time Vision Quest was being filmed (you do the math!) and later graduated from WSU with a degree in Social Science. Tammy spent 30 years as a state employee before retiring in 2020. She enjoys spending time with her family at Priest Lake, taking care of her grandchildren, daydreaming, and playing with her two furbabies.
Fun fact: Simba, their Golden Retriever, was the inspiration for our mascot, Roger!
Together, Tim and Tammy have three grown children,
Stephanie(Clayton), Collin(Cathy), and Rilee.
And two beautiful grandchildren, Livia and Jude. They are now looking forward to bringing this fun, family entertainment to their hometown!
